I designed a dress for Janette to wear to her son’s traditional wedding. I challenged myself to make a matching bag out of the leftover fabric. This experience improved my patternmaking skills and helped me find new ways to make adjustments.
Janette asked me to make her another dress for a Jamaican Party. I made a clutch out of the lace to match her dress. When making this dress I learned how to design with this type of lace.
